In Real Estate

Ever wondered what it is like to have a career in real estate as a military spouse?

Hey there fellow military spouse. I see you. You’re wondering what the heck am I going to do about my career. Countless moves, deployments and kids make it hard. I hear ya! I’ve been there.

After moving to San Antonio, loosing my job and not having a house to move directly into, I knew I had to create change.

When I told my friends and family I was going to get my real estate license they freaked out. They told me it was a stupid idea. They told I’d never see my family. They told me there is no way I’d ever be successful.

I didn’t listen.

Three years later I have one of the top producing teams in San Antoni–there’s over 9,000 licensed realtors in San Antonio so it’s an honor to be among the elite. I also set up my business so that when I PCS’d to Colorado Springs I’d continue to grow. And guess what! My team not only grew, they sold more real estate without me!

If you’re thinking about a career in real estate it is really important for military spouses to know exactly what they are getting into when they decide if real estate is the career for them. It’s one of the most rewarding career moves I’ve made which is why I’m passionate about helping other military spouses get into the field.
